As the last pieces of Aluminium joinery are installed, we can now experience the interior spaces, without mother nature creeping in.

In the living room, two large sliders meet at a larch post to completely open up the space.

Louvres were an obvious choice for both the upstairs master bedroom, main bathroom and downstairs in the open plan space. They will allow for cross-flow ventilation without having to open the large sliding doors. This can be useful overnight in summer, or on windy days.

We’ve opted for aluminium joinery from the 41architectural series from Nulook and love how the profile compliments the James Hardie EasyLap cladding, which has been finished with Resene Sandtex textured coating.

Check out our previous Aluminium Joinery post for more details on our choices.
